Included here are the very 1st pass of boards I did in my sketchbook at work. The film’s changed quite a bit since then haha!
“Mourning Cup” is my thesis film that I worked on in my 4th year at Sheridan.
The film is about love, loss, and life after losing. It is inspired by the experiences of myself as well as my friends who have lost family members dear to us. It is my sincere wish that the film will be a source of comfort and support for those who have gone through or are going through similar experiences.
The gifs here are 2 scenes from the film. The rest will be uploaded at a later date. The boards/colour script are from an earlier draft and some minor changes have been made since then for the final.
Worked on 0:41-0:51 of this short film for ONEFIVEOH as an intern under Embreate.
Our team was given a song about raccoons to split between ourselves. We each took some verses and created designs, boards & animation to go with the lyrics. The final edit was put together by Embreate.
Included here is also a doodle of a portion that was not used in the film.

The initial style proposals didn’t include the beaver as I was focused on using other things to try and visually represent “fitting in”. However, after some talking and joking around, we ended up going with a beaver trying to fit in with geese.

A looping gif created for ONEFIVEOH as an intern under Embreate.
Given “David Cronenberg”, “The Fly”, and “campfires” as prompts, proposed an idea for a looping gif and did designs + animation for it.
Character designs for a hypothetical show called “Deepartment SEA” where a bunch of deep sea creatures (barely) work in an office together.
The DeepSEA crew is……
Angela the Sea Angel. Secretary who is hyper competent and also Very Bored.
Bob the Blobfish. A fish of few words with a big heart and bigger muscles.
Ainsley the Anglerfish. Works in a dark corner of the office and barely gets up from his seat. As such, he’s gotten comfy with his slippers and a pants-free life.
Dorian the Dumbo Octopus - The boss who looks like a baby.
Vanessa the Vampire Squid - Reluctant Corporate Slave who works solely to support their mobile gaming habits.
Spencer the Spider Crab - The top employee for the past 15 years who also hasn’t stopped twitching for the past 15 years after discovering caffeine.

A wolf pup confesses to a clueless bunny child.
An idea that I’m still messing with after making that first doodle of a mock story panel with Japanese subtitles. More boards can be seen in the “Story” section linked up top!
Lasso tool fun in the sun!
Hell’s Chicken is a 3D short film that was meant to be a parody of reality TV cooking shows. In it, 2 chickens learn to cook or be cooked- with a twist at the end.
Top: A colour script painted for our 3rd Year Thesis Film, Hell's Chicken.
The composition of the panels were taken directly from the boards and some test renders.
Bottom: A leica of an early pass of Act 1 for Hell’s Chicken which I boarded.
