Wanted to challenge myself a little with something involving cars and a small crowd!
Getting saved by someone who can barely drive- I remember this scene felt really epic and hilarious at the same time.
Part of a series of studies I've been working on! (From the 2nd image onwards the panels are in sequence.)
Studying a cutscene that happens during one of the Hamura fights in Judgment (2019). I always think the fight choreography for fights where Yagami implements some sort of chair are really cool! Also it's just really funny to kick away a bad guy on a rolly chair.
Mainly focused on studying action poses here!

I was really excited when the Ruzader design was revealed- It's super cute! I immediately wanted to draw something with a lot of power and dynamism to it to go with the chaotic rascal energy of these lil' guys!
The images go chronologically from Final image at the top to very-first-original-sketch at the very bottom!
A 4 panel exercise of a made up scenario for the Ryu ga Gotoku and Judgment series. (Sequence starts with 2nd image on the page, with the photo of Kiryu!)
Taking matters into my own hands and making Akiyama and Yagami meet each other. Tried to condense my ideas into 4 panels.
I like to imagine this happened alongside Gaiden and maybe a little before Lost Judgment? Definitely before, but also extending into the timeline of Infinite Wealth tho.

Yagami's a detective, Sugiura and Tsukumo are detectives.. You know who else is a detective? Detective Pikachu.
In a world without licensing limits, I want to believe there would have been a substory where Detective Pikachu shows up at the Yokohama 99.

“Mourning Cup” is my thesis film that I worked on in my 4th year at Sheridan.
It was part of the Toronto Youth Shorts 2018 Official Selection and the final version can be viewed on Vimeo here: https://vimeo.com/269403640
The film is about love, loss, and life after losing. It is inspired by the experiences of myself as well as my friends who have lost family members dear to us. It is my sincere wish that the film will be a source of comfort and support for those who have gone through or are going through similar experiences.
The gifs here are 2 scenes from the film. The boards/colour script are from an earlier draft and some minor changes have been made since then for the final.

Hell’s Chicken is a 3D short film that was meant to be a parody of reality TV cooking shows. In it, 2 chickens learn to cook or be cooked- with a twist at the end.
Top: A colour script painted for our 3rd Year Thesis Film, Hell's Chicken.
The composition of the panels were taken directly from the boards and some test renders.
